Financial contributions and assistance

There are some costs associated with going to school that you may find it helpful to plan and budget for.

These include:

  • uniforms

  • school equipment, such as pencils, glue sticks, library bags

  • excursions

  • co-curricular activities.

Voluntary school contributions

Like all NSW public schools, we can request contributions to enhance our educational and sporting programs including elective subjects. School contributions help provide additional educational resources for the benefit of students. Payment is voluntary.

For more information, visit the Voluntary School Contribution policy.

Financial assistance

If you are unable to pay school contributions because of financial hardship, you may be eligible for assistance from the school.

Our principal will ensure no student or family suffers any discrimination or embarrassment over the inability to pay school contributions.

Centrelink child care benefit

Families using outside of school hours care may be eligible to claim for this child care benefit to help with these costs.

For more information, visit Centrelink child care benefits.

Excursions

Each year, students from Preschool to Year 6 will be invited to participate in a school excursion. Excursions are a valuable teaching and learning vehicle, often integral to quality curriculum delivery in that they provide access to teaching content and learning experiences not available at the school. Each excursion is carefully selected to compliment teaching and learning programs taking place within the classroom.

Parent online payments (POP) are available.

For more information, visit the NSW Department of Education excursion policy
