To assist our Year 6 students in their transistion to high school, Marayong Public School will be holding High School Weeks in week 7 and week 8 of term 4. Both Wednesdays will be normal class schedules. This program allows the students the opportunity to experience diffferent lessons with a variety of teachers. Students keep their school bags with them at all times and travel to different classrooms as they would in a high school setting.
The Year 6 Graduation Ceremony will be held at Marayong Public School with a COVID-19 Safety Plan in place. During the Graduation Ceremony, Year 6 students will receive their Graduation Certificates, the School Captains will address the parents and their peers and there will be a viewing of the Year 6 Slideshow. We encourage families to find alternate supervision arrangements for toddlers and babies, due to the limited space / seating available, in line with the COVID-19 Safety Planning. Please note that only one family member of each graduating student may attend per household. Please see the available note for more information.
The Year 6 Farewell will be held at Marayong Public School with a COVID-19 Safety Plan in place. Student drop off can occur from 5.15pm for a 5.30pm start. Parents / Caregivers are to drop and collect their child from the Davis Road gate entry to Marayong Public School. Please see the attached document for more information on the drop off and pick up procedures.
