There's always something to celebrate at our school! From exciting events to proud moments and everyday wins, here are some of our highlights.

Pathways 2025 in collaboration with Doonside Technology High School (DTHS)

Our Narang Marayang students worked alongside a local Elder and their high school peers from DTHS to create a unique artwork that reflects their stories, culture, and connection to Country. Through this collaboration, students learned traditional techniques, shared personal experiences, and celebrated the rich heritage of their community. The artwork stands as a symbol of pride, identity, and respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture.

Performance Groups at the Blacktown Festival of Performing Arts

Our Junior Dance Group, Senior Dance Group, Drumming Group, and Choir proudly represented our school at the Blacktown Festival of Performing Arts. Students showcased their incredible talent and teamwork through energetic dances, powerful drumming, and inspiring vocal performances. It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate creativity, culture, and community spirit, and our students shone brightly on stage!

A year at our school

Our Book Week is a celebration of stories, imagination, and creativity! Students and staff dress up as their favourite book characters and share their love of reading in a colourful, joy-filled parade.

Education Week is a special time to showcase the amazing teaching and learning happening at Marayong Public School. Families are invited to visit classrooms, celebrate student achievements, and see learning in action.

We celebrate Father’s Day by recognising the wonderful dads, grandfathers, and father figures in our community. Students enjoy creating thoughtful gifts and sharing how much these important people mean to them.

Mother’s Day is a heartwarming celebration of mums, grandmothers, and caregivers. Students take part in special classroom activities and choose a gift from our Mother’s Day Stall to show their love and appreciation.

The Lantern Festival is a beautiful evening event that brings our school community together to celebrate culture, creativity, and connection. Families enjoy student performances, food, and the stunning glow of handmade lanterns.

Our Fun Run is an energetic event where students challenge themselves, stay active, and support school fundraising. It’s a day filled with colour, teamwork, and plenty of smiles!
